This ongoing visual tapestry began as a personal search for solace in New York City’s Central Park—a place that became my sanctuary during a time of profound uncertainty and change. The unannounced performances of street musicians offered persistent, purposeful comfort: raw, bold expressions of artistry amid the park’s open spaces.
Years later, that fascination endured and eventually drew me away from fashion photography backdrops toward the musicians themselves. Through years of repeated visits, quiet conversations, and observation, I have captured a global stage within the park’s borders—featuring soloists and ensembles from the United States, Russia, Turkey, Japan, India, Brazil, Mexico, Haiti, and beyond. Many hold prestigious conservatory degrees and have performed on renowned stages, yet here they share their world-class skill with anyone who pauses to listen.
By photographing their monumental presence and unwavering dedication, I seek to honor the disciplined artistry and spirit required to claim one’s place in the heart of the city. As someone who trained at Juilliard and navigated my own struggles with stage fright, I recognize the courage it takes to perform publicly—the vulnerability, the discipline, the joy. This shared understanding has shaped an intimate, trust-based approach: returning to familiar spots, listening between sets, and building mutual respect over time.
FOUR SEASONS OF CENTRAL PARK
Monograph in Production | Expected 2026
The Vision: Inspired by the rhythmic structure of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, this series is a color-saturated exploration of the “architectural integrity” of Central Park’s evolving landscape. Featuring over 100 photographs, the project deconstructs the park’s seasonal transitions through a lens of high-fashion editorial and organic geometry.
The Narrative: From the skeletal, minimalist clarity of winter to the vibrant, tactile abundance of a midsummer harvest, each movement of the series explores the “living editorial” of the park. By “nesting” the viewer within the park’s rare botanical collections and sweeping vistas, the work captures the persistent, cyclical beauty of a landscape designed for human interaction. This is a visual ode to the park as a living muse—a place where nature’s seasonal choreography provides a timeless stage for the city’s enduring spirit.

“This movement deconstructs the park into its most essential forms. Using a silver-toned palette, the winter solstice reveals a stark, elegant
geometry—a silent, high-contrast study of resilient stillness.” VIEW THE FULL SCORE

“A vibrant, maximalist celebration of renewal. This movement captures the rhythmic pulse of the first bloom, where the park’s rare botanical
collections emerge in a high-fashion display of textural abundance.” VIEW THE FULL SCORE

“An immersive, living editorial of summer’s peak. This movement explores the lush density of the park, where a deep, saturated palette provides a
monumental stage for the city’s sun drenched narratives.” VIEW THE FULL SCORE

“A visual ode to seasonal transition. This movement weaves golden-hour textures into a toned amber and sienna narrative, capturing the landscape as it prepares for its silent, winter return.” VIEW THE FULL SCORE
A Note on the Score: The Vivaldi Inspiration
Four Seasons of Central Park is a visual transcription of the rhythmic and structural complexity found in Antonio Vivaldi’s legendary concertos. My practice is deeply informed by my studies in music composition at The Juilliard School, where I learned to see the world as a series of movements, measures, and motifs.
In this series, I treat the landscape not as a static subject, but as a living, breathing score. Each “movement” deconstructs the park’s seasonal transitions through an editorial lens—where the skeletal stillness of winter acts as a minimalist adagio, and the lush, saturated density of summer serves as a symphonic presto. By weaving together high-fashion aesthetics with organic geometry, I seek to honor the persistent, cyclical choreography of nature. This project is a visual ode to the park as a timeless muse, where the interplay of light and shadow provides the persistent melody for the city’s enduring spirit.
