Autumn Air | Riverside Park
Featured in Institute Magazine and a Julia Margaret Cameron Award winner juried by Elizabeth Avedon, Autumn Air is an exploration of textural immersion. This editorial series, captured in the late-season light of the Upper West Side’s Riverside Park, deconstructs the traditional boundary between the subject and the environment.
The composition is a layered study of softness and structure: the plush, voluminous weight of the coat find a rhythmic counterpart in the wild, linear density of the autumnal grasses. By “nesting” the modern subject within this organic architecture, I’ve created a cinematic narrative that feels both intimate and expansive. It is a visual celebration of seasonal transition, where the high-fashion aesthetic becomes an essential element of the park’s natural geometry.
