Vantage View Firenze I

Honored by a distinguished international panel, including curators and directors from Sotheby’s (London), Discovery Channel (New York), Musee de l’Elysee (Lausanne), and The Guardian (London).

In Vantage View Firenze I, I explore the architectural density of Florence through a high-altitude, aerial deconstruction. By utilizing a monochromatic lens, the city’s historic core is transformed into an intricate, geometric mosaic of light and shadow. This perspective focuses on the spatial dialogue between the ornate marble of the Duomo and the ancient, labyrinthine sprawl of the surrounding rooftops. The deliberate choice of black and white strips away the traditional Tuscan palette to expose the raw, sculptural permanence of the urban landscape, treating the Renaissance center as a theatrical grid of enduring form.
